Nicolas Houzé is an executive board member of the Galeries Lafayette Group, Chief Executive Officer of Galeries Lafayette, President of BHV Marais, and Vice President of Motier.
He started his career at A.T. Kearney and Deutsche Bank before joining Monoprix, where he notably launched “Monop”, a successful convenience store concept. After spending a year between Fontainebleau and Singapore for INSEAD, he was appointed Chairman of Louis Pion - Royal Quartz, the watch division of the Galeries Lafayette Group. Later in his career, Mr. Houzé held the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the group’s department store division, which includes the Galeries Lafayette and BHV Marais networks.
Mr. Houzé has been recognized as one of the 500 Most Influential Personalities in Fashion in Business of Fashion’s annual ranking. He is currently an independent member of the M6 supervisory board, a member of the MEDEF (Mouvement des Entreprises de France) executive council, the IADS (International Association of Department Stores) executive committee, and the Alliance du Commerce and Union du Grand Commerce de Centre-Ville (UCV) steering committees.
