Stefano Canali is President and Chief Executive Officer of Canali Group, a company founded on the sartorial tradition of Made in Italy and since 1934 produces and distributes menswear luxury garments.
 
Mr. Canali joined the Group in 1998 in the accounting department, where he was responsible for managing the implementation of treasury and accounting modules for the new enterprise resource planning system. He also developed the first currency hedging policy for the Group, streamlining internal treasury procedures and strengthening the company's relationship with the banking sector.
 
Mr. Canali was subsequently appointed Chief Financial Officer, developing the new international structure of the company and optimizing liquidity management. During the same period, he joined the executive board. In 2008 he became General Manager, restructuring the family-run business model through a more distinctive management approach. Since 2018 he has held his current position with the aim of promoting the growth of the company, remaining true to the values and founding pillars that have distinguished the Canali family over the decades. 
 
Mr. Canali started his career working for an independent currency risk management company and for the FX trading team of a major Italian commercial bank in New York.
 
He graduated from Bocconi University in Milan with a degree in business administration.
